Raised in El Paso, Texas, Scott Feuille (pronounced "fuel") uses pen name Anson Scott. An international pilot for a major U.S. airline and a 20-year Reserve Naval Aviator, he recently returned from a year in the Horn of Africa, serving the Global War on Terror. Both of his grandfathers, (one was the President and Publisher of the El Paso Times newspaper and the other was one of the first television news anchormen in El Paso) were published authors. Scott is a former Board Chairman of the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Texas and an avid supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. When he is not writing, he enjoys scuba diving, playing hockey, making furniture and fine jewelry, collecting wine and traveling with his wife, Jodi. His debut novel, Borderland, is the first in a planned series of Jake Martin adventures.
